Guiseley Match Preview .

Tuesday 17th January 2012, 1:35 AM

Weather permitting, Harrogate Town make the very short trip to Nethermoor Park where Guiseley AFC await!
Simon Weaver’s men will be looking to give their hosts a much tougher match then last time the two sides met, when Boxing Day action saw Guiseley go back home with all the points following a comprehensive 4-0 win.
At the moment, Guiseley are sitting in 4th place and looking very good for a play-off place. They have a very strong squad including former Darlington striker James Walshaw and our ex players Dave Merris, Ciaran Toner and Gavin Rothery (who is their leading goalscorer at the moment with 12). They have managed to score 29 goals at home whilst conceding just 10!
Guiseley’s last home game was on the 17th December and it saw them beat Boston United 2-1 thanks to a brace from Andy Holdsworth.
Their are no new injury worries for Town, apart from the long term ones we know about, so hopefully the team that the Lions face tonight will be a lot different from the one that was at the CNG Stadium. It is anticipated that Simon Weaver will keep faith will the same 11 that beat Bishop’s Stortford at the weekend.
As normal, there will be coverage (either full match or in the form of regular updates) from BBC radio York (MW 666) and hopefully, technology allowing, there will also be regular updates on our Twitter and Facebook pages.
