Histon Match Preview .
Friday 6th January 2012, 12:05 AM
Simon Weaver’s men play hosts to 14th place Histon on Saturday (kick off 3pm) at the CNG Stadium.
Harrogate Town will be looking to make a positive start to 2012 and will be hoping to claim all three points and some revenge against a side that beat us 4-0 at the Glassworks Stadium back in September 2011.
New signings Alan White and Paul Bolland will be looking to make their home debut whilst there may be starts for Dan Clayton and Robbie Youhill as well.
Our visitors have a pretty even away form at the moment, they have won 4 out of the 11 games they have played on the road whilst losing 5. They have found the back of the net 14 times whilst conceding 17. Their leading goalscorer is Dan Holman who has scored 10 (including a brace against us!)
Whilst there are no suspension worries for Simon Weaver, the injury list looks pretty impressive. Danny Stimpson, Adam Nowakowski, Chris Elliott, Liam Hardy and Steven Turnbull are already on the treatment table whilst Will Turl, Alex Meechan and Pete Bore are also awaiting the results of fitness tests before the match!
If Town win they could theoretically move up to 14th place whilst a defeat could put us down in 19th (again dependant on other results!)
As normal, there will be live match coverage on BBC Radio York (MW 666) and hopefully there will also be updates via our Twitter and Facebook pages.
