Worcester City Match Preview.

Thursday 24th November 2011, 9:29 PM

Saturday’s match sees us travel back down to St George’s Lane and come face to face with Worcester City again!
Having already lost to them 3-2 in an amazing match that saw goalkeeper Zac Jones sent off at 2-2, a penalty conceded which was then saved by stand in goalkeeper Paul Heckingbottom, only for Town to lose 3-2 to a last minute goal – revenge is certainly what we are after in this F.A. Trophy 3rd Qualifying Round tie.
Worcester City are currently 8th in the league and have won five of their nine home league matches this season. They have scored 17 goals whilst conceding 9. However, as we all know, form, counts for nothing in the cup.
Town will enter the match with no suspension worries, however they are carrying injuries to Liam Hardy, Chris Elliott, Danny Stimpson and Adam Nowakowski. It is possible that Pete Bore and Richard Pell may make the team dependent on fitness tests.
Radio York will be covering the game on LW 666 whilst updates will, hopefully, be available on our official Facebook and Twitter sites.
