BTEC Open Day to Run Tuesday 28th August

Year 11 boy/girl footballer?  GCSE’s complete? Looking to study and realise your full football potential?... IT’S NOT TOO LATE!

An Open Invitation from Simon Weaver – Manager, Harrogate Town AFC

“We are proud to offer the opportunity to Play, Train and Learn alongside Harrogate Town and Harrogate College.

"Aimed at students aged 16-18, our education programme provides a BTEC qualification as well as the chance to train every day like a professional footballer.

"This programme can lead directly into a Degree in a sports related subject, for example, a BSc (Hons) Physical Education, an opportunity to gain a soccer scholarship in the USA, or provide the platform to go straight into the football industry in a variety of different roles.

"Our college Academy programme strengthens our commitment to the development of young footballers across Harrogate and District.

"The partnership we have with Harrogate College is important to everyone at the football club, not simply as a way of producing exciting young footballers, but as a way of placing our club firmly at the heart of our community.”

Further Education options? Unique football related opportunity?

Why not join us for an Open Training session at the CNG Stadium on Tuesday 28th August from 2pm – 4pm.

Simon Weaver, first team manager, will lead the training session and Andy Reah, Harrogate College tutor, will be on hand to answer any questions relevant to the BTEC course.
