BTEC Open Evening - Wed 26th Feb

Further to our recent stories surrounding our first team players Josh Falkingham, James Belshaw and George Thomson’s journeys through education to professional football, we are delighted to announce the latest BTEC Open Evening at The CNG Stadium.

The open evening will take place at 7pm on Wednesday 26th February in the corporate suite.
Potential students will get the chance to get to know the education and football programme run by the club direct from our head of BTEC recruitment and first team Captain Josh Falkingham.
Aimed at students aged 16-18 male and female, our education programme provides a BTEC qualification as well as the chance to train like a professional footballer every day.
This programme can lead directly into a Degree in a sports related subject such as a BSc (Hons) Physical Education, or provide the platform to go straight into the football industry.
First-Team Manager Simon Weaver commented: “Our Youth Alliance programme strengthens our commitment to the development of young footballers across Harrogate and District.
“This area is important to everyone at the football club, not simply as a way of producing exciting young footballers, but as a way of placing our club firmly at the heart of our community.
