CNG Stadium to host FA Inter League Cup Quarter Final

With our first team away at Kidderminster this weekend, The CNG stadium will see The York League take on The Staffordshire County League this Saturday at 3pm.

The FA Inter League Cup is a competition for teams playing at step seven with the eventual winners going on to represent England in a European tournament against leagues of a similar standard.

Last season’s competition was won by The West Yorkshire League who defeated The Teesside League in the competition final played at Bootham Crescent.

The eventual champions then went on to compete in the European tournament in Romania, but eventually lost out to Russia.

If you cannot make it to Aggborough with Town this weekend, why not come down and watch this Quarter Final tie.

Admission is just £3, or free for children, and the 1919 Venue will be open for those pre or post-match refreshments.
