Town play their final league fixture on Saturday before the drama of the play-offs gets underway as Curzon Ashton visit The CNG Stadium.
Following Brackley's defeat at the hands of Chorley on Wednesday night, Town have confirmed home advantage throughout the play-offs and second place in the National League North; their highest ever league finish.
A point would see Simon Weaver’s side finish with the National League North’s best home record, helped by nine victories in the last ten league outings at The CNG Stadium.
Saturday’s opponents secured a fourth successive season at this level at the weekend with a 1-0 win over Spennymoor, though a 2-1 reverse at Blyth Spartans on Tuesday night brought to an end a four match unbeaten run in the league.
John Flanagan’s side currently sit 18th
, but could finish anywhere from 15th
depending on how the final day unfolds.
The Nash have won just three of their 20 away league games this season, and one in nine in all competitions, but are unbeaten in their three visits to The CNG Stadium to date.
Curzon did suffer defeat the last time the sides met though as Mitch Curry’s late winner saw Town return from Tameside Stadium with all three points.
If selected, Josh Falkingham will make his 50th
Town appearance since joining from Darlington last Summer, though Weaver will be without on loan Leeds United defender Liam Kitching through injury.
