Town return to league action this weekend with a second trip of the season to Dover.
The first, Town’s first ever match at Crabble, came less than a month ago and ended in victory as Jack Muldoon’s brace sealed his side’s passage to the next round of the FA Trophy.
Dover had gone over six hours without conceding before that match, but go into this weekend’s clash three points clear of the relegation zone and with no win in four.
Andy Hessenthaler’s side would be eighth over the last 15 matches though, with the Dover boss facing Town for the fourth time this season.
Hessenthaler’s first match in charge of Dover since returning was a 2-2 draw at Town, while the former Watford man suffered a 4-0 defeat as his Eastleigh side visited The CNG Stadium in September.
Dover were unbeaten in six National League matches before Saturday’s home defeat to Gateshead, a result that saw Town drop out the Play-Off places for the first time since August.
Simon Weaver’s side have two matches in hand on The Heed though and remain the joint top scorers in the division along with Leyton Orient.
Town have taken 22 points away from home this season, though Inih Effiong and co will be desperate to prevent that total growing; The Dover striker has three goals against Town already this season.
New loan signings Jack Senior and Dylan Mottley-Henry could both make their league debuts this weekend, with Jordan Thewlis Town’s only injury absentee.
Prices for Saturday’s match are as follows…
