Academy apprentices take part in discrimination workshop hosted by Kick it Out

Today our Town academy apprentices took part in a workshop hosted by Troy Townsend of the organisation Kick it Out, where the important issue of discrimination was discussed.
As part of the presentation, examples of racially motivated incidents around football were used to educate the players on the correct way in which these should be reported depending on where these incidents may occur.
In discussing other forms of discrimination such as homophobia, sexism, antisemitism and sectarianism, the prospects engaged in positive discussions on the different forms of discrimination and how to tackle them.
We would like to thank Troy Townsend and Kick it Out for their time and delivering an engaging workshop on such an important issue.
