Community Foundation partners with Man v Fat Football initiative

Man V Fat Football is the latest initiative our Community Foundation has become involved with.

Aimed at men with a BMI of 27.50 or over who want to lose weight, the Man V Fat Football initiative allows people to enjoying playing football together while losing those unwanted extra pounds.
Losing weight can be challenging on your own but to do it as part of a team in a fun environment can give you the extra support needed to reach your goals.
Weekly small sided games are held in a league format with qualified referees, allowing you to score on the pitch, while a weekly weigh in with your Man V Fat coach gives the incentive to score goals off the pitch.
Add the support and accountability from your team mates and your coach, recipes and other online resources such as national tournaments and an online exercise classes, you have everything you need for your health, wellbeing and losing weight journey.
The initiative has been a huge success so far with 90% of the players have lost weight and improved their fitness.
It's social and fun, so weigh, play, lose and win!
Sessions are held from 7.00-9.00pm at King James School, King James Rd, Knaresborough Harrogate, HG5 8EB
