Dior Angus joins on Deadline Day

We are excited to introduce our new number eight, Dior Angus.

The 28-year-old striker signs on a permanent deal from Wrexham, having spent the last 18 months with the National League club.

Coventry-born Angus started his career at Solihull Moors, featuring for a number of non-league clubs such as Banbury United, Kidderminster and Redditch in his early career.

Angus’ form in front of goal at The Reds earned the striker a first move to the Football League with Port Vale, having netted 17 goals in 23 matches.

Our deadline day arrival then joined Barrow on loan in January 2019 for the remainder of the 18/19 season, with the Bluebirds making the move permanent the following Summer.

It proved a shrewd decision as Angus struck 12 times in a season cut short due to Covid-19, helping Barrow back to the Football League.

Having made 19 appearances in Barrow’s first season in the EFL for almost half a century and netting the club’s first goal back in the Football League, Angus joined Wrexham in February 2021, narrowly missing out on another promotion in last season’s Play-Off Final.
