Town Make First Summer Signing

Harrogate Town have made Port Vale Defender Callum Howe their first signing of the Summer.

At 24-years-old, Howe has already amassed plenty of experience in The National League, having featured for Gateshead, Alfreton, Lincoln, Southport and Eastleigh.

Doncaster-born Howe began his career at Scunthorpe United, before a transfer to Lincoln City after three years with The Irons.

In his second loan spell at Glanford Park, Howe joined NPL Premier Division side Frickley, where he would go on to be named Player of the Year, despite only arriving in the second half of the season.

Howe cemented a regular position in the starting line-up in his first season with The Imps, before collecting a National League winners medal the following season at Sincil Bank.

The start of the 2017/18 campaign saw Howe on loan at Eastleigh, before signing an 18-month contract with Neil Aspin’s Port Vale.

We would like to welcome Callum to Harrogate Town, and look forward to seeing him in action.
