Town to Host PDC Coaching Session


We would like to invite all members of our Player Development Centre to a special training session put on by our Academy and Elite coaches on Friday 18th January 2019 at The CNG Stadium.

The session will be free to attend to all members of our boys and girls PDC programme, the only stipulation being that PDC members have to bring a friend who is not a PDC member, at the cost of £5 per friend.

Members of the wider public are able to register for the event subject to availability, from Monday 7th January 2019.

Each session will be followed by a question and answer session with First Team Management Simon Weaver and Paul Thirlwell, open to parents and participants, focusing on the duos playing careers and plans for the future of Harrogate Town.

The training sessions for each age group will run as follows…

U7s, U8s and U9s            
6pm – 7pm followed by a Q&A in the 1919 venue from 7.10pm until 7.40pm

U10s, U11s and U12s    
7pm – 8pm followed by a Q&A in the 1919 venue from 8.10pm until 8.40pm

U13’s, U14’s and U15’s 
8pm – 9pm followed by a Q&A in the 1919 venue from 9.10pm until 9.40pm

Please note that the above sessions are open to both boys and girls, but numbers are limited to 80 players per training session.

Complimentary Food and hot drinks will be available on the night and the 1919 bar will be open for drinks.

To register, please forward the following details to
  • PDC member name and age group
  • Visiting name and age of friend, parents name and contact number, parents e-mail address, confirmation of any medical issues, and agreement for photographs to be taken on the night.
Players should plan to arrive and register in the 1919 venue 10 minutes prior to the start of the session, with the £5 payment for the visiting friend to be made on the night.

Places are expected to fill quickly so please forward the relevant details ASAP.

The event will be open for members of the public to register, subject to availability, from Monday 7th January 2019.
