Trio of Pre-Season Friendlies Announced

We can now announce three pre-season fixtures, to be played in July at The CNG Stadium.

Like last season, we kick-off our pre-season against neighbours Knaresborough Town at The CNG Stadium, which will take place on Tuesday 9th July.

Both Town and Knaresborough were able to secure top ten finishes in their first seasons at a new level with Paul Stansfield’s men coming ninth in the NCEL Premier Division.

A week later, on Tuesday 16th July, National League North side Guiseley make the short journey to The CNG Stadium.

The sides met in the West Riding County Cup last season, with Guiseley coming out on top in the sides’ first competitive meeting since 2015.

Having finished 19th in their first season back in the National League North following relegation from the National League in 2017/18, Marcus Bignot will be aiming to hit the ground running.

Saturday 20th July sees another National League North outfit visit Town in Evo-Stik NPL Champions Farsley Celtic.

Adam Lakeland guided his side to the title with an impressive haul of 90 points from 40 matches and will prove tough opposition as preparations for the season are stepped up.

The fixture will also see former Town favourites Danny Ellis and Lewis Turner back at The CNG Stadium with The Celts.

The fixtures represent the first chance to see new signings Connor Hall and Scott Brown in action, plus any more additions made between now and July.

Season Ticket holders can attend all home pre-season fixtures free of charge, while further ticket information and news of additional fixtures will be announced in due course.
