Waitrose Supports Town’s Community Foundation

Harrogate Town’s Community Foundation has been selected to be a beneficiary of the Waitrose Community Matters scheme in April.
Each month the supermarket donates a total of £1,000 to three local good causes. The total is divided up in proportion to the number of green tokens placed by Waitrose customers in the bins near the store’s main entrance.

Shoppers are given the tokens at the check-outs and can select which of the three good causes they want to support.
So, please help our Community Foundation by giving some custom to Waitrose during April and dropping the green tokens in our bin!
Since its inception in 2014, the Harrogate Town AFC Community Foundation has worked with a number of local organisations including Job Centre Plus, Harrogate District Hospital, Dementia Forward and the Pupil Referral Unit.
