Women and Girls Development Officer Appointed

It gives us great pleasure to announce that Harrogate Town Football Club have appointed Mr Les Johnson as our Women & Girls Development Officer.

His primary role will be to support our growth within the Girls PDC sector, engaging with local schools and junior football clubs whilst promoting and putting in place a games programme to complement all age groups to aid development and progression within our Girls Development of the Harrogate Town Progression Pyramid.
 
Les has a Batchelor of Education Degree in Physical Education from Liverpool University and was Head of Physical Education secondary schools in London.

A semi professional footballer at St Albans City, Chesham United and Hemel Hempstead Town who is now a Company Director at White Optics based in Peterlee Co Durham.

His daughter is actively involved in girls football and presently playing at Kirk Deighton Rangers and HTAFC Academy. He looks forward to building on the solid foundation set out by Ged Maloney.
