Harrogate Town completed the league double over local rivals York City on Saturday with a 2-0 victory at Bootham Crescent.
After a first half of very few chances, Jake Wright fired into the bottom left corner six minutes into the second half to give his side the lead.
Wright then had to be withdrawn, but his replacement Mark Beck picked up where his teammate left off, heading Joe Leesley's free kick past Adam Bartlett to seal the win.
Simon Weaver named the same starting XI that beat Blyth Spartans 5-1 on Easter Monday with ex York City defender John McCombe partnering Warren Burrell at centre back.
Although there was no goalmouth action in the opening ten minutes, it was clear a lot was at stake as challenges flew in fast and frequently.
The first attempt on goal came in the 12th minute as Josh Law fizzed a low shot from the edge of the area across James Belshaw's net.
Simon Heslop was next to try his luck with powerful strike towards the top corner from 20 yards, but Belshaw was equal to the attempt.
With half an hour played Adriano Moke looked to have crafted the first real opportunity of the afternoon as his right wing cross glided towards the head of Connor Smith, though Ryan Fallowfield got a vital head to the ball that eliminated the danger.
Town came closest to scoring in the first half five minutes before the break as Fallowfield's quick throw was collected by Jack Emmett who darted into the box and saw his low cross take a deflection, forcing an impressive save from Bartlett as Leesley was unable to convert the rebound.
After six minutes of second half action Wright sent the travelling Town fans into a frenzy as he sprinted down the right and fired low and hard into the bottom left corner to give his side the lead.
York looked for a reply five minutes later, but Smith's long range strike was once again met by Belshaw in impressive form, before Sean Newton headed the resulting corner over.
Not long after giving his side the lead, Wright was forced off with injury, though Mark Beck took his place and teed up strike partner in his first involvement, though Knowles narrowly missed the target.
Wright's replacement then got his name on the score sheet, after winning the initial free kick, Beck headed Leesley's delivery past Bartlett at the far post with 67 minutes gone.
It should have been three five minutes later as Knowles' low cross found Beck a few yards from goal, but the frontman could not get the right contact on the ball to double his tally.
Jordan Thewlis, who had replaced Knowles, went close to Town's third with 11 minutes to go after collecting Thomson's cross field pass and cutting inside, but seeing his finish deflect behind for a corner.
Despite York throwing men forward, Town were able to see out the clean sheet and inflict defeat on The Minstermen for the second time this season.
