Town will be looking to avenge Boxing Day's 3-1 defeat on New Years' Day as we welcome Darlington to The CNG Stadium.
Last Tuesday's defeat moved The Quakers out of the relegation zone after Nuneaton's win earlier in the day had seen Tommy Wright's side drop into the bottom three.
It was Darlington's first win in seven matches, and a second success on the bounce for the first time since August could move Wright's side up four places to 13th.
Town meanwhile will be looking to strengthen their grip on second place, and make up ground on Salford against a side who have not won on their travels since the opening day of the season; at the league leaders.
Simon Weaver's side remain the division's top scorers, but come up against a Quakers side with the best defensive record outside the top eight.
It is at the other end where Wright's side have struggled with only North Ferriby and Chorley having scored less, while Town's home form has seen just one defeat in 11 league games with only two sides conceding fewer on home soil.
Until the last outing, all previous meetings between the sides had ended in away wins, and an average of 4.75 goals per match suggests 2018 could start with a cracker!
Weaver said: “We want to get that game out of our system, train hard over the next couple of days and really prepare thoroughly.
“We know there are a few key areas defensively where we have to be better than we were the other day.”
The Harrogate Boss will be without Simon Ainge who begins his three match ban, though Terry Kennedy and Warren Burrell's suspensions will not kick in until the match after.
