Town moved to within six points of league leaders Salford City on Saturday afternoon with a convincing 3-0 win against North Ferriby.
Terry Kennedy finished Joe Leesley's corner in the first half and George Thomson's in the second to put Town in a commanding position, before Leesley converted Simon Ainge's knock down to ensure maximum points were collected.
Simon Weaver named the same starting line-up that beat Wrexham 2-0 at The Racecourse Ground last weekend, while Ainge and Jack Emmett returned from injury to make the bench.
Mark Beck had Town's first sight of goal when the striker tried to lob the out of position Ross Durrant, but saw a visiting defender make a crucial block.
Lloyd Kerry was next to try his luck after collecting possession from Ryan Fallowfield, but his attempt was a fraction too high.
Town had to be patient in possession when looking to create an opening, but broke the deadlock in the 32nd minute through Kennedy who headed Joe Leesley's corner into the net.
Leesley and George Thomson tried adding their names to the score sheet towards the end of the half, but both saw their efforts saved by Durrant.
Three minutes after the restart Ferriby had Durrant and Jack Walters to thank for keeping their deficit at one as Durrant saved Warren Burrell's one on one effort before Thomson's follow up was headed off the line by Walters.
With 53 minutes gone, Kennedy bundled home his second of the afternoon meeting Thomson's deep corner at the back post.
Town's third goal arrived in the 67th minute as substitute Jack Emmett's cross found Simon Ainge at the back post, who had also been introduced in the second half, where he was able to head the ball into the path of Leesley to finish.
Town's third substitution saw Jordan Thewlis enter the action, and the forward almost got amongst the goals with a neat finish that was hooked away before it could cross the line.
The afternoon did finish on a sour note however as Ainge was shown a straight red card for an incident with Jake Picton who had fouled the attacker.
