Club Physio Rachel Davis, who organised the trip, was joined by first team Manager Simon Weaver, Assistant Manager Paul Thirlwell and first team players Ben Parker, Louie Swain, George Thomson and Jack Emmett who spent time with the children and their parents.

Simon Weaver said: “It was great to be able to bring a smile to the children's faces just before Christmas.

“As a football club we are always looking to give something back to the community, and visiting children in hospital is one of a variety of ways we are able to do that.”
