Harrogate Town U21s strolled to an 8-1 win against i2i International Academy on Monday night at The CNG Stadium.
New signing Mark Beck was on show for Josh Falkingham's side, and found the net twice alongside strike partner Marcus Day who claimed four of Town's goals.
Despite a few dangerous early balls into the box and Morgan Smith looking menacing on the left wing, Town fell behind early on through a sloppy goal.
It wasn't long before Town had turned it around though, with the equalising goal lifting the confidence of the team and seeing the hosts lead 3-1 at the break.
Day was at his clinical best and stole the show with a series of neat finishes, though it will be Beck's well taken headed finishes that had fans excited.
Manager Falkingham said: “It was great to see Beck get some minutes behind him, he fit in well with the team and the quicker we get him back fit the better.”
With the result well beyond doubt, Prince Attakorah provided the pick of the goals, driving forward and firing in from distance.
There was still enough time for substitute Kyle Willis to get amongst the scorers as the striker capitalised on a goalkeeping error late in the game to seal an emphatic win.
Falkingham added: “We showed a great reaction from a disappointing result at Campion last week and were ruthless in both boxes.
“Leading 3-1 at half time it was a case of showing a good attitude and repeating the performance, which we did.
“There were lots of good individual performances tonight, and we are looking more and more like a team with each game that goes by.
