Town stretched their lead at the top of the table with another solid win on Sunday, this time away at Pontefract Colleries.
Town started well when James Richardson saw his effort cleared off the line after a good individual run.
Sam Clark and Carl Robinson both tested the keeper soon after, but on both occasions the stopper did well to keep their shots out.
Town finally took the lead in the 32nd minute when Robinson's perfectly weighted pass put Richardson through on goal where he could finish smartly under the keeper.
It was two just before half time when Owen Marwood's through ball put Sam Phoenix away down the right from where he was able to square to Robinson unmarked in the six yard box.
Town started the second half well and scored their third in the 50th minute when Olly Heselgrave's long ball was cleared straight to Richardson who finished well.
Robinson claimed his second and Town's fourth when Marwood found Robinson on the edge of the area and able to fire into the bottom corner from 20 yards, leaving the keeper no chance.
Richardson capped a fine individual performance when he met Robinson's corner for an easy header to complete his hat-trick and seal a convincing win for Town.
