Simon Ainge has been named Vanarama National League North Player of the Month for August.
The striker scored nine goals in seven appearances during the first month of the season to put him at the top of the league's goal scoring charts, including a memorable volley at Stockport County.Ainge picks up the award for the second time after claiming the prize back in February, his second win in the last four attempts.
The former defender now has 31 goals for Town since joining in Summer 2016, but will be unable to add to his tally for a short while as he prepares for an operation on a groin injury.
