The Shaymen currently sit 16th in the National League table on 27 points, but have only won one in their last six games, a 2-1 victory against Barrow in the FA Trophy.
Town and Halifax have faced off eight times in the past, With The Shaymen claiming victory four times (twice in the National League North and twice in the FA Cup), the two sides playing to a draw twice and Harrogate claiming two victories (both in the National League North).
The gaffer in the opposition technical area will be James Fullarton, who took over from Billy Heath in February of this year and enjoyed a very busy playing career, playing for several clubs in Scotland, France and England.
Fullarton has also managed League Two club Notts County, but departed in 2016 after two months in charge.
The Town defence will have to wary of Halifax marksmen Dayle Southwell and Matthew Kosylo who have notched up five and four goals this season respectively.
