The GB Cycling Elite Academy, which included Mark Cavendish MBE, were put through their paces by Simon Weaver and Paul Thirlwell at St John Fisher School 3G Facility on a dark Wednesday afternoon.
The GB coaches saw the occasion as an opportunity to create memories, allow the team to bond and take a step back from their rigorous training camp.
The young cyclists had been out across the Dales during the morning for a five hour then stint returned to their hotel in Harrogate, before coming over for the football manoeuvres.
St John Fisher teachers Mr Paul Stansfield and Head of PE Mr Aidan Pass were also on hand to ensure everything was Gold Medal.
