Kidderminster Preview

15 February 2018

Town travel to Aggborough on Saturday as the National League North's highest scorers on home soil take on the team with the most goals on their travels.

Kidderminster's home form has been exceptional recently with Harriers winning their last six league games at Aggborough without conceding a goal.

After finishing runners-up last season, John Eustace's side look set to be up there again at the end of the season and currently sit fourth in the National League North, ten points behind Town with a game in hand.

Harriers' trip to Spennymoor last weekend fell victim to the conditions, but Saturday's opponents had won their last three league games before that, as have Town.

No team have won more National League North points over the last 15 games than Kidderminster, while
Chorley are the only side to have come away from Aggborough with all three points, though only one team have a better away record than Simon Weaver's side this season.

Town nearly claimed a first win over Kiddy when the sides met at The CNG Stadium in December, though goals from Terry Kennedy and Simon Ainge were cancelled out by a Joe Ironside double.

Harriers' hero on that day has 13 league goals for the season and has been a big part of an impressive run of home form that has seen Saturday's hosts go unbeaten in their last 17 outings, winning nine of the last ten.

A first win over Kidderminster this weekend, and anything less than a Salford City win at a rejuvenated Alfreton, will see Town return to the top of the league for the first time since September.
