Harrogate Town AFC

After being mascots for Saturday's home clash with AFC Telford, members of Hampsthwaite and Birstwith JFC have expressed their thanks to everyone at Harrogate Town.

"I just wanted to drop you a note of thanks from everyone involved in hosting Hampsthwaite and Birstwith JFC U7's for the Match Day Experience on Saturday.  

The whole afternoon was a great success and topped off with another win for Town which sealed it for us.  The kids thoroughly enjoyed every part of it, although they were run very close by their parents who are still emailing me to say thank you, topped off with being able to see themselves on the highlights!

All the staff do a brilliant job looking after us, from the stewards who get us in and settled, Alan on the tannoy reading out their names along with yourselves for everything ahead of the day.  Also what does not go unnoticed is the way the players look after them when they walk out as well, speaking to them and making sure they are ok, which is really important for such a young team in what can be quite a daunting situation - genuine care.

I'm proud to support Harrogate Town and to be able to say this is what football should be all about, I know that many of our players will go on to attend future games and there is no better compliment than that.
