George Thomson has today put pen to paper on a new deal that sees the midfielder commit his future to the club.
Since signing from FC United of Manchester in May 2017, the midfielder has made over a half century of appearances for Town; contributing 13 goals and 15 assists in that time.
The 26-year-old caught the eye in his first season with a series of memorable goals, including stunning efforts against his former employers FCUM and Stockport County that helped Town to promotion.
George joins Josh Falkingham, Liam Agnew, Warren Burrell, Ryan Fallowfield, Joe Leesley and James Belshaw in recently signing new contracts at the club as we look to build a core of players for our time in the National League.
