We are delighted to have completed the signing of Defender Kelvin Langmead.
Most recently plying his trade at Nuneaton, Langmead has turned out for Kidderminster Harriers and Ebbsfleet United before departing League Two Northampton Town; where he had spent four seasons. The move to Northampton had come about after former Manager Gary Johnson decided he wanted to take Langmead with him from previous club Peterborough.
The majority of the 33-year-old's career appearances came in the Football League for Shrewsbury Town who Langmead appeared over 200 times for between 2004 and 2010.
The experienced centre back started his career with Preston North End for whom he made his sole Championship appearance for in a 1-1 draw with Millwall in 2004.
We would like to welcome Kelvin to The CNG Stadium and look forward to seeing him pull on the Town shirt for a first time.
Kelvin will join the club officially on July 1st subject to FA and National League approval.
