Harrogate Town's Under 21's made it eight league wins in a row on Monday night with a 3-2 win over a resilient Brighouse Town.
The visitors took the lead after 25 minutes, but two well taken first time finishes by Jake Heatley inside three minutes put Town ahead at the interval.Charlie Baird curled in Town's third and, though a late penalty saw the visitors almost come away with a point, Josh Falkingham's side collected maximum points for the eighth successive time.
In form Charlie Baird was the first to register a shot on goal as the striker controlled Henry Dolby's raking pass and volleyed into the arms of the Brighouse stopper ten minutes in.
The visitors then had a fantastic chance to take the lead as their left winger got in behind the Town defence, but Liam Powell denied the opportunity one-on-one.
Powell was beaten shortly after though as Town's stopper was beaten at his near post by the visiting number nine.
Brighouse's lead lasted just eight minutes as a goalkeeping error saw Heatley pick up the ball 40 yards out and place the ball over the out of position stopper's head with a well executed first time finish.
Two minutes later Heatley claimed his second goal of the evening latching on to Aaron Bretell's sweeping pass and again finishing first time.
Nine minutes into the second half Baird got his name on the score sheet showing great strength to keep hold of Sam Clark's header and curl into the top corner from the edge of thr area.
With 14 minutes left to play the visotors reduced the deficit to one, converting from the spot after a clumsy challenge by a recovering Town defender.
The leveller almost came in spectacular fashion with ten minutes to go, but a fantastic Powell save denied a vicious volley from finding the top left corner and earning Brighouse a point.
