Town U19s turned in an impressive performance to claim their first win in four games over second place Ossett United at The CNG Stadium.
Goals from Aaron Haswell, Sam Clark, Kwame Boateng and Sam Barker see Josh Falkingham's side move above their opponents in the WRCFA U23 League.
The first chance fell the way of the visitors in the first minute who went one on one with Wilton, but the Town stopper saved low to his right.
It should have been 1-0 to Town in the 12th minute after good work from Haswell set up Sam Clark in the middle, but the striker couldn't get good enough contact on the finish, neither could james Richardson who was following up.
Haswell took it upon himself to open the scoring two minutes later, sprinting past his marker and slotting into the bottom left corner.
Town's number 11 almost got a second soon after when his low strike across goal was fumbled by the Ossett stopper, who just about recovered in time to prevent the ball crossing the line.
Falkingham's side would go on to finish the half strongly with Sam Barker seeing his goalbound effort blocked before Clark flashed across goal with five minutes until the break.
Town got the second goal their first half display deserved on the stroke of half time as Haswell's clever flick released Clark on the left, from where the striker was able to curl into the far corner.
The visitors almost responded with a curling effort four minutes after the restart, but it should have been three soon after as Barker's shot was parried to the feet of Richardson who couldn't privide the finish.
Kwame Boateng and Richardson both went close to adding the score before Ossett almost got back in the game with a terrific effort, though the mazy run ended with the ball in the side netting.
Town's right back did get his name on the score sheet in the 72nd minute, playing a one-two with Akeel Francis and sliding past the 'keeper to cap an impressive debut performance.
Six minutes later Barker added to the score, collecting Richardson's low cross and beating the Ossett 'keeper who did manage to get a hand to the ball.
Barker's finish ended the scoring for Falkingham's side, who are next in action in two weeks time when Tadcaster Albion U23 ISA (Red) visit The CNG Stadium.
