Our Player Development Centre welcomed Darlington to The CNG Stadium on Friday night, here's how the evening unfolded…
Town U12s/U13s 1-2 Darlington
The first fixture of the night was another great game involving our Player Development Centre with high quality from both sides.
Ben Parker's side were unlucky not to take the lead as on four occasions as Darlington's goalkeeper pulled off great saves.
The visitors took the lead from a long throw into our box, but our boys we kept on playing some good stuff and eventually equalised through Harry Burland's penalty.
Even though Darlington got the winner, themselves with a penalty, Town had plenty of positives to take away and plenty to learn going forward.

Town U14s/U15s 2-0 Darlington
The second match of the night provided some quality football to the parents and supporters watching on from the stands.
Darlington started strongly, but soon found themselves on the back foot with Josh Walsh's side beginning to take control.
In a close game, Joe Payette struck to give Town the lead, while the home side stayed solid at the back to stop their opponents getting back into the game.
Tom Addley then struck late on to ensure an impressive performance from the young Town team was rewarded with a win.
We would like to thank Darlington for travelling over to The CNG Stadium and ensuring the game was played in a great spirit.
