Eleven games into the new Vanarama National League season Town sit one point clear at the top of the table ahead of Saturday's meeting with the only other undefeated side in the league, Leyton Orient.
Simon Weaver will be delighted with his side's undefeated start to the season that continued last weekend with a 2-0 win at Maidstone United.
Summer arrival Callum Howe picked up his fourth goal of the season at the Gallagher Stadium, with fellow goal scorer on the day Jack Muldoon netting his sixth, lifting him up to third in the league's goal scoring charts.
The O's, founded in 1881, play their football at Brisbane Road and are currently the second highest scorers in the league behind Town with 16 goals, while at the other end, the promotion chasers have conceded only eight.
Relegation from League Two in the 2016/17 season meant that Orient would be playing outside of the Football League for the first time in 112 years.
Orient had previously played as high up as League One and in 2014 missed out on promotion to the Championship following Play-Off Final penalty shoot-out defeat to Rotherham.
Saturday's game will be the first time that Harrogate Town and Leyton Orient have faced off in a competitive fixture.

Orient appointed Justin Edinburgh as their Manager last November with The O's three points above the relegation zone at the time, but the former defender was successful in guiding his side to 13th place come the end of the season.
Edinburgh began his managerial career as a player-coach at Billericay Town in 2003, though his playing career began at Southend United.
After a short spell on loan at Tottenham, the former defender joined the club permanently in July 1990 before lifting the FA Cup in 1991, becoming a League Cup winner eight years later and making over 200 league appearances for the club.
Orient Striker Macauley Bonne has already picked up five goals this season for the undefeated side, with fellow teammate Academy product Josh Koroma also impressing in their blockbuster start to the season.
A local lad, Koroma, has made over 60 appearances for the club already at the age of 19 and has two goals to his name so far this season having netted against Maidstone and Dover.
