Over the last few months there have been exciting developments at The CNG Stadium to enhance the capacity and further improve safety in line with FA A Ground Grading criteria and the stipulations of the English Football League.
It has been a busy time for the club, during which we have had to manage construction safety and operational safety at matches and other events at the stadium during our first season at National League level.
Whilst the bulk of the work is complete there is a snagging process to finalise, sound abatement measures to implement and then we will need the regulatory bodies to sign off the formal safety aspect.
The CNG Stadium now has a holding capacity of 4108, including 600 seats under cover.
We would like to thank all the various contractors for their hard work and due diligence, all the club's supporters for respecting the restriction at recent matches and all the local residents for any inconvenience caused during construction.
This is a land mark achievement for the club and for the town as we all strive to take the club to a higher level for the benefit of the whole community.
We hope to confirm when the new stands will officially be open in the near future.
