The evening of Friday 5th April saw an extremely tight game between two good teams as Town's U10/11 Academy side took on NY Soccer.
The visitors started slightly stronger putting themselves a goal up ten minutes in, however after a strong defensive performance, Town grew into the game and started to take control.This led to an equaliser when, after a good press, Ralph Walker pinched the ball and found Donnie Green, who placed the ball past the ‘keeper.
Town went on to create more chances, though the NY soccer goalkeeper made a couple of good saves to keep the score level.
