Centre halves Will Smith and Connor Hall both scored their first goals for the club as Town recorded their first win of the season in a 3-0 success at Barrow.
After having to cope with windy conditions early on, Joe Leesley sent a free kick onto the head of Smith after 34 minutes to give Town a half time lead.Smith repeated the trick in the second half, finishing from close range after the constant threat Brendan Kiernan had turned Leesley's free kick back across goal.
Not wanting to be outdone by his centre back partner, Hall headed Kiernan's corner over the 'keeper and in to seal the win with four minutes to play.
Simon Weaver made one change from the opening day draw with Solihull as Lloyd Kerry replaced Jack Emmett in midfield.
Barrow looked to get on the front foot inside the first minute as Josh Kay centred to Dior Angus, but Hall was perfectly placed to block.
It took a goalline clearance from Mark Beck to keep Barrow from scoring in the 18th minute when, after James Belshaw had kept out Dior Angus' effort, Beck prevented John Rooney's low finish from crossing the line.
The longer the half went on, the more Town settled with Kiernan causing problems to the Barrow defence, a 70-yard run down the left proving difficult to deal with.
Kiernan would play a key part in Town opening the scoring as his quick feet drew a foul just yards outsdide the penalty area, prompting Joe Leesley to float a cross onto the head of W Smith, who nodded past Joel Dixon.
There was still work to do before the half was up as Belshaw kept out a low drive from Angus and ensured his side went into half time ahead.
Despite a promising start to the second half for the hosts, Town doubled their lead 56 minutes in with a very similar goal.
Kiernan had won a free kick in a dangerous area that Leesley delivered to the back post, Kiernan then diverted the ball back across goal with Will Smith appearing to get the final touch on the line.
It was almost three in the 78th minute as Jack Muldoon fed Kiernan through after a breakaway from a corner, but the ball just ran away from the winger allowing Dixon to claim.
Just moments after Dixon had pulled off a remarkable save to prevent Kiernan's deflected shot finding the top corner, the Town winger picked out Hall from a corner, who was able to head the ball over everyone in the box and into the far corner to seal the win.
