We are delighted to announce our fourth signing of the Summer, Will Smith.
The versatile defender joins from Barnsley, where he signed his first professional deal in July 2017, shortly after being named 2015/16 Academy Player of the Year at Oakwell.The 20-year-old made his senior debut in 2018 in the EFL Trophy having been a regular starter for The Tykes U23 side.
The 2018/19 season saw Smith join National League North side Darlington on loan from December onwards, with the young defender making 14 appearances for The Quakers.
We would like to welcome Will to the club and look forward to seeing him in action.
The transfer is subject to FA and National League approval on 1st July 2019.
