Connor Hall Town’s First Summer Arrival

15 May 2019

We are delighted to announce our first signing of the Summer, Connor Hall.

The defender joins from Brackley Town, where he formed an impressive partnership with Gareth Dean at the heart of defence in the 2018/19 season, earning plenty of plaudits.

Having joined The Saints in June 2018, the 25-year-old helped his side to a third place finish in The National League North, though saw the season end in disappointment with a Play-Off exit to Spennymoor on penalties.

At six-foot-four, Hall is a commanding presence, with only NLN Winners Stockport County conceding less goals than his Brackley side last season.

Town's newest recruit started his career alongside England Goalkeeper Nick Pope at Bury Town and had spent two seasons at Biggleswade before joining Brackley, registering 18 goals in two seasons in a more advanced position.

“We have been tracking Connor's performances for some time at Brackley.” Explained Simon Weaver.

“He has height, strength and mobility, he is confident, a great lad and truly the modern breed of centre back.

“He is career driven, I'm sure everyone will take to him and he will do a great job for the team, a warm welcome to Connor.”

The transfer is subject to FA and National League approval on 1st July 2019.
