Mark Beck has signed a new long-term deal after some impressive performances and vital goals this season. Notably, the two goals he scored against Halifax Town to secure Harrogate's place in the first round of the FA Cup.
Having signed from Darlington in 2017, the six-foot five striker has been a stalwart in the Harrogate side, making over 60 starts and scoring 27 goals.Beck is remarkably good with his feet and rarely loses a header, making him a valuable asset to this Town side.
Manager Simon Weaver doesn't take for granted the importance of Mark Beck to the squad:
“He's been an integral part of our squad and he's impressed us immensely. He's got better and better as player since he first came through the door.
“He thoroughly deserves his place and he's really been nailing down his spot in the side and he's played a massive role in the resurgence of the team.
Beck is now in his third season at the club and we look forward to seeing the big man continue his fine form.
