Our FA Cup First Round tie with Portsmouth has been selected for live TV coverage on BT Sport 1.
As a result the fixture at The CNG Stadium will be played on Monday 11th November and kick-off at 7.45pm.It will be the second time Town have played in front of the BT Sport cameras this season, following October's 2-0 victory over Ebbsfleet at The CNG Stadium, and the seventh time in total following five last season.
Simon Weaver's side will be competing in the First Round for the first time in seven years and have been drawn against Portsmouth, who won the competition in 2008 and were in the Premier League as recently as 2009/10.
The fixture will also see a return to The CNG Stadium for Portsmouth and Scotland International goalkeeper Craig MacGillivray who made close to 100 appearances for Town from 2012-14.
We look forward to welcoming fans of both clubs to The CNG Stadium in what will undoubtedly be another fantastic advert for what Harrogate Town has to offer.
