Warren on the mood in the camp as we approach Saturday…

The camp is confident. Obviously pre-season has been tough but the lads are fit and flying. We've had quite a few pre-season games and although results haven't been what we've wanted, it's mainly about the fitness but
we've still got to learn a lot of lessons from those games and we're hoping to put them right ahead of Saturday.

On playing against teams in higher divisions during pre-season…

It's been a challenge, we've played against some good players but we want to test ourselves as much as we can. We're not happy with some of the results and goals we've conceded within those games so we've got to put those things right.

On looking forward to playing in front of home and away fans…

Yeah definitely, football is not the same without fans. It's going to be exciting to see the fans turn up in their numbers and we want to give them something to cheer about.

On trying to start as strongly as we did last season…

It's not always fairy-tale starts like that (Southend on the opening day of last season) but obviously we're expecting to put a good performance in. Rochdale are a good team who have just come into our league with a lot of good players so it'll be a good test.

On what we've learned from the previous campaign…

How tight he games are and how fine margins mean a lot. We have to take our chances when they come and obviously keeping the ball out of the net at the other end at all times. The amount of score lines we lost by one goal last season, we want to change that and have the results in our favour this time around.

On ambition for the season…

To do as well as we possibly can. We had a taste of it last year but want to do better than that and put some good runs together and be as high as we possibly can.
