Will Smith on returning from three months on the sidelines…

It's tough more mentally than physically when injured. I think you have to stay positive, get through it and think where you're going to be at the end of it and work hard to strive to get back in the team.

It's difficult because you can't make an impact when out the team but when you do come back, you have to be ready. It's the thing to look forward to.

Smith on his injury…

At first it was more about looking after head and neck, that was main thing. A few minutes after though, it started to kick in that my hamstring didn't feel right. After the scans, it turned out I tore the tendon in my hamstring which wasn't good, but rather that then something happening to my neck or head. I'm alright now.

On contributing to improved results…

It was a hard time being out and not being able to make an impact or try to help the team keep a clean sheet or score a goal. When coming back you do feel like you have to make an impact.

Hopefully I feel like I have. For defenders it's about keeping clean sheets and then chipping in with a few goals, which I'm yet to do but hopefully that'll come soon. It's nice to be back in the team and contribute towards success and wins.

On recent home form…

I think we've addressed the issue of home form. Our away form is very good but we've had to pick up the home form and think slowly, we're starting to do that. A 1-0 win is a good as 3-0 for me as we get the win and keep a clean sheet. They all count.

On facing Grimsby on Saturday…

We've got to play how we have been recently. We have to be resilient, defend well and put a shift in. I think if we play how we did against Carlisle and Mansfield, will pick up more home wins.
