Watch the Gaffer's pre-match press conference as we get ready for Colchester…
On the performance against Stevenage...
Immediately after the game we said we have to dust ourselves down. For large parts we passed the ball well, created chances and restricted them to very few opportunities. We had 60% possession as well so I couldn't really have a go at the players.
It would be counter productive. We've got an important game tomorrow night, we have to take all the positives we can and move on.
On team news for tomorrow...
Connor [Hall] comes back into the squad as his hamstring is now OK. No other injuries were reported after the game.
There's good news in the squad in that two children have been born over the course of the last few days. Connor Hall's little boy called Jenson and Kevin Lokko's little girl called Mila so it's great news for them.
On our last meeting with Colchester...
I think it was a great performance on that day without sticking the ball in the net. There were two little incidents where we could have defended better.
I think the hangover effect was too protracted and it affected us for the next two to three weeks from the disappointment of losing a game we should have one.
We've got to take the merits and positives from the performance, move on quickly and still learn and concentrate throughout the games. You can be dominant throughout the game and that's when the rearguard action has to be really on it as they have to keep focused and expect the unexpected at the moment.
On whether we need to guard against complacency...
I'd be very surprised if anyone in the building was complacent or lackadaisical in any approach. We've got a good strong squad to choose from and can make changes if anyone took it easy.
As we've said before, it can be a ruthless level and we've got to show our ruthless side tomorrow night.
They've scored some good goals this season, not least against us so we're fully aware they have threats in their line up. We need to guard against any feelings that this could be an easier game as it certainly won't be. They have more appearances at this level than us, we've got a lot to prove and we want to finish as high as possible.
