Harrogate Town were denied a memorable win away at third place Swindon Town after an 83rd minute Jack Payne penalty cancelled out Jack Diamond's opener.
Diamond's finish had deservedly seen Town lead after 28 minutes, with Mark Oxley's long clearance leaving the Sunderland loanee through on goal.
With Town looking good value for their lead, Swindon were handed an opportunity to level from the penalty spot with only seven minutes remaining, Lewis Page the closest Town defender to the incident, and took it as Payne converted to ensure his side salvaged a point.
Luke Armstrong thought he had given Town the lead in the sixth minute as he capitalised on indecision in the Swindon back line to poke the ball over Jojo Wollacott, only for Rob Hunt to clear off the line.
Kerry then forced a good save from the Swindon keeper with a long range effort that was beaten away at full stretch, with Lewis Page demonstrating his defensive qualities at the other end to block Hunt's strike when the hosts did threaten.
Weaver's side had looked the more likely early on and grabbed the opening goal when Mark Oxley's long ball upfield was misjudged by Hunt and pounced upon by Diamond with only the 'keeper to beat, the on-loan Sunderland man making no mistake,
Kerry was needed for a crucial clearance at the end of the first half, as Town departed a cold and windy County Ground at the interval good value for their lead.
Town's pressing performance continued in the second half with Diamond and Pattison combining to almost create a second goal for Thomson, though the ball just wouldn't fall for the Town number seven.
Jack Payne went close at the other end not long after, dribbling past Connor Hall and Lewis Page before firing over the bar.
Pressure was starting to build on the Town goal, with a teasing cross from the left just evading Tyreece Simpson who was doing his best to bundle into the net.
Pattison went close to getting a second Town goal away from home, much like on Tueaday night at Carlisle, as Armstrong teed him up, though the Swindon defence made a timely block.
With nine minutes left of normal time, Referee Alan Young awarded Swindon a penalty after what looked like te attacker lost his footing under the close attention of Page, with Payne gratefully equalising from the spot.
Despite the setback, Harrogate nearly managed to collect all three points as good work from Diamond down the left resulted in both Arrmstrong and Pattison having goalbound efforts blocked, though Weaver's side were made to settle for a point, though will feel they deserved all three.
