Both our Ladies under 17 and reserves sides enjoyed success this weekend with wins over Wigton Moor and Ossett United respectively.
The U17's continued their fantastic form with another win as they put eight past Wigton Moor without conceding.
A tremendous team performance saw Town dominate from start to finish. Despite creating numerous chances in the first half, Town only converted two opportunities, the first from Eva Jenkins who finished off a well worked team move, then when from a Liv Johnson corner, player of the match Niamh Tyssen volleyed home.
After half time, the girls came alive as they converted a further six chances to make it 8-0. Tyssen bagged her hattrick after two great goals in quick succession, followed by Lydia Corner scoring her first of the game with a lovely finish. Tyseen went on to grab a fourth goal after great link up play with Jenkins, then returned the favour to set Jenkins up for her second of the game and Town's eighth!
Harrogate Town Ladies Reserves topped off a great weekend as they also enjoyed a victory in the league in what looked a tough test against Ossett United.
Despite creating numerous chances, Town went in at half time disappointed they hadn't capitalised on the vast number of opportunities they had created to take the lead.
After half time, Town continued to pressurise the Ossett defence, but the Ossett goalkeeper continued to pull off save after save. Ossett then took the lead with a great one-two which allowed the winger in behind the town defence, where she calmly slotted the ball home.
This kicked the girls into action and they upped the intensity with a brace from from Jess Flynn, one from Nat Eustance and a further goal from Em Crispin sealing the victory. Flynn's final goal the pick of the bunch as she rifled the ball in off the bar from the edge of the area.
There was no fixture for the Ladies first team this weekend gone as their clash with Sheffield Wednesday was postponed.
