The Gaffer on whether preparations have altered at all with the game being played on a Friday…
 
Only that Thursday is the new Friday. We're doing everything we would be doing for a Saturday game a day earlier and we're looking forward to playing under the floodlights, that's for sure. The vibe has been very good in training, as you'd expect following last Saturday but we know we've got a hard game on Friday night and Newport well be well prepared and hard drilled, which will make it a difficult game.

On the fans support, home and away this season…

They've been brilliant and really got behind the players which is so important. We're at a level now where we need them more than ever and more numbers more than ever too. With it being a night game under our floodlights and in our ground, hopefully they can make the difference.

On Newport's last visit when Aaron Martin got a goal and assist…

It was an exciting game and Aaron Martin was a standout player on that occasion, as he can be. He's been razor sharp in training and really knocking on the door for a start that's for sure.

On Jack Muldoon scoring his 50^th goal in Town colours…

I think he'll go down as one of the club's better signings just because he personifies what we want to see, on and off the pitch. His attitude, his energy, his positivity every single day, it radiates among the group.

On what we're expecting come Friday night…

They were very impressive at their place last season and we learnt a few harsh lessons that day. Their shape could be one of two things and tactically they're very astute, certainly from set pieces they always have things up their sleeve so we need to be right on it Friday night, at every restart be really sharp and well-focused. Hopefully we can keep the run going.
