Watch the Gaffer's pre Crawley Town interview here…
The Gaffer on the mood in the camp following back to back positive results…
The morale has been brilliant and really upbeat. Obviously, two big clubs came to our place and us taking four points has been a good return.
On Alex Pattison's form…
He's been outstanding in both games. I think he's really shown commanding form, driving forward through midfield at pace and also just doing the other side of the game; winning headers, tackles being really right in the heart of the last two performances.
On Jack Diamond's influence…
He's only just come back really (from Sunderland) but he's just outstanding on the ball and his work rate up and down the left flank is superb. He's really lifted us all with his effort and the entertainment he brings to the club.
On taking it one game at a time…
No one is getting carried away at all. It really is at the minute, right the next game, let's chalk it off and let's show the same intensity. We've got to imagine it is a local derby again and get the crowd whipped up, win the first headers, tackles and be right in the middle of the game, really immersed in it and be hard to beat.
We need to have that pride, not just attacking but also defensively. I think the whole back four in the last couple of games and the keeper have been exemplary and want to maintain those clean sheets.
On facing John Yems' Crawley…
It's always a battle and they're tough games. They've been on a decent run themselves, got good attacking threats and play a different system from what we've been playing against in the last couple of games. We've had the diamond thrown at us, 4-2-3-1, but also 3-4-1-2 which is pretty similar to what we expect tomorrow night.
On the approach for tomorrow…
It's important that we don't lose the game first and foremost and we just don't go hell for leather and leave the back door open. We've got to play with our brains as well as our hearts.
If it's a point, it's a point and we move on. We want to sustain this nice little run and obviously three points would be brilliant and another confidence booster ahead of another difficult game but we've got to focus on that first part of the game tomorrow and get stuck into it.
