We can confirm that Connor Hall has today joined Port Vale on a permanent deal.
The centre half made over 100 appearances for Town after joining from Brackley at the start of the 2019/20 season, becoming Simon Weaver's first recruit of the summer.
Hall would go on to play a pivotal role during his debut season with Town. The defender featured over 30 times during the Covid hit season, won Players Player of the season and scored that memorable second goal at Wembley Stadium in the National League Promotion Final.
The 28-year-old would play at Wembley and lift silverware again a year later, having played the full 90 minutes of our FA Trophy Final victory against Concord Rangers.
First team manager Simon Weaver commented: "I want to wish Connor the very best of luck. He's played a big part in our progress over the last few years and in particular his goal at Wembley in the Play-Off Final will always be remembered with great fondness."
The club would like to place on record our sincere thanks to Connor for his contributions and we wish him all the best in the future.
