Sunderland have today recalled Jack Diamond ahead of Lee Johnson's side's clash with Wycombe on Saturday 8th January.
Several of the Black Cats' first-team players have returned positive tests for COVID-19 and all affected are now observing a period of isolation in line with Government guidelines.As a result, Sunderland have opted to recall Diamond, though have received EFL approval for the winger to resume his respective loan spell later this month.
Jack Diamond will return to Sunderland with immediate effect and will be unavailable for our Emirates FA Cup tie at Luton on Sunday.
