Season cut short for Falkingham and Diarra

21 March 2022

We can confirm that both Josh Falkingham and Brahima Diarra's injuries are likely to keep them out of action for the rest of this season.

Captain Josh Falkingham injured his right foot against Bradford City and scan results show two stress fractures that will rule him out for a minimum of four weeks.

Huddersfield Town loanee Brahima Diarra suffered an ankle injury early into the contest at Bristol Rovers in mid-March and will require surgery to repair damaged ligaments.  The young midfielder will return to Huddersfield Town for his rehabilitation.

Diarra made 13 appearances for Simon Weaver's side during his short loan spell and quickly became a fan favourite with his fast feet and tenacious attitude. The Frenchman scored one goal and also grabbed two assists.

We'd like to thank Brahima for his contributions and wish him all the best.
